FAMILY & FRIENDS CPR
Help someone who has stopped breathing.

BOOKING

All courses are run from our training centre at Hatzolah House, 29 Durham St, Raedene.

A MIN of 6 and MAX of 20 students per class is advised.

The duration of the course is 3-4 hours.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
How to manage situations requiring CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) in adults, children, and infants as well as choking emergencies.
How to use the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) as well as the correct steps to take when making an emergency call.
COURSE CONTENT
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
- Adult, Child, and Infant Rescue Breathing
- Adult, Child, and Infant Mild and Severe Choking
LEARNING RESOURCES
A workbook will be provided to review and keep for future reference.
TESTING AND CERTIFICATION
- There is no testing phase.
- Once complete, participants receive an attendance card from the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa and a Hatzolah Training Centre attendance certificate.
- Discovery members will earn 1000 Discovery Vitality Miles.
- It is recommended that you redo the course every 1-2 years.
