Hatzolah is defined by its tagline – “Treatment Excellence. Unsurpassed Response Times.” – and we live this every day. Our careful selection of volunteers, rigorous and consistent training and constant quality assurance mechanisms, all work together to achieve the kind of care very few emergency services can claim to attain.
Hatzolah's care goes beyond just mending the body. We look after the person as a whole, even going as far as to care for the bystanders of emergency events through the Crisis Response Unit (CRU). We also have a list of experts on standby whom we can turn to for advice and guidance on specific topics. This includes a cardiologist, gynaecologist, neurologist, and more.
The most important aspect of our medical treatment is the speed at which the team get to the scene. Since our volunteers are scattered geographically, we can also step in and assist until the ambulance arrives there, drastically increasing the patient's chance of survival. The area in which Hatzolah operates is divided into three zones – A, B, and C – with zone A being the closest to Hatzolah’s base. To get a sense of just how rapid our response times are, view the table below:
Each patient receives the best care as quickly as possible, and at no cost. Whether medication or life support is needed before hospitilisation, Hatzolah shoulders every expense so that patients and family members can focus on healing without the worry of costs. As the only service of its kind, Hatzolah plays an irreplaceable role in caring for the community.
Hatzolah surpasses most emergency services in every respect. It would truly be unfortunate if this stellar organisation could not continue its crucial humanitarian work long into the future.
